Levi’s x Damien Hirst collection

Published: September 4th, 2008 by 7t7

My radar went like RED ALERT RED ALERT when I saw this one. The limited edition Levi’s x Damien Hirst collection. “Hirst worked closely on the project with designer Adrian Nyman, who previously made a collection of Levi’s imprinted with Andy Warhol’s art. The current Fall 08 line focuses on three common themes from only Hirst’s work—skulls, spots and tropical butterflies. The images are emblazoned on black and blue jeans, as well as white, black and purple t-shirts. Some of the skull images feature the splattered paint of his “spin paintings” and one shirt has the black and white portrait of the artist and a skull. The line is rounded out with a signature denim and leather jacket.” The Levi’s x Damien Hirst line will be hitting stores like Barney’s New York, Fred Segal and Union (NYC) in mid-September.

Featuring the signature beige leather patches on the instep. And each outsole is imprinted with hexagons, a geometric shape long associated with Visvim. RockersNYC x Masterpiece Bags

Published: September 4th, 2008 by 7t7

As we are all anxiously waiting for the Fall collection to arrive in the Gorilli Concept Store, the infamous RockersNYC and Japanese luxury bag company Masterpiece have teamed up to create a very limited run of bags only available in Japan. Masterpiece reworked its stellar tote bag in three different colorways with RockersNYC’s epic Evoleyes print, and also reworked their Boston bag with the RockersNYC Delgado print. All of the bags are created with high end materials, and both styles come with leather trim and some nice details. This is yet another great collaboration by RockersNYC, setting it apart from many other brands, as the jump in between streetwear and a more high end fashion. The Rockers NYC x Masterpiece bags will be released Spring/Summer 2009.

Nike Mid-Autumn Festival Pack

Published: September 4th, 2008 by 7t7

Continuing to infiltrate Chinese culture, also after the Olympics Games, Nike presents the Mid-Autumn Festival Pack, consisting of a Terminator, Air Max 1 and a Blazer. The quest goes on to replace Made in China by Sold in China. But when you sell your sole/soul is it worth the gold?

Visvim F.I.L. Hiroshima

Published: September 1st, 2008 by 7t7

Hiroki Nakamura gives us a first look at the newly opened F.I.L. Hiroshima store (Visvim). A minimalistic beauty like the other F.I.L. / Visvim stores. Its only in retrospect that we can say that the Gorilli Concept Store was not only inspired by Wonderwall but also by Visvim`s minimalistic esthetic approach.
